Victorian Exit

By MMD

Forsake!

say i

Forsake!

this poor small digit of mine has been

Forsakenly!

smushed against this

disagreeable and

vile entranceway

unmoved by its terrible power

which is to say

oh mercy above

Forsake!

that it is a shame

a hinge cannot feel shame

the way we may

for if it did

perhaps my poor finger

would have been spared

the

Forsaken!

maiming which had occurred

as an exit i did make

and so i say

Forsake!

and

Forsake! this door

and

Forsake! my pinky on my fair hand

and

Forsake everything!

Forsake!

Forsake!!

Forsake!!!
